Cookie Notice
Version of September 23, 2026
On your first visit to Gravira Casino CA, a small banner asks what the site may keep in your browser. Below you get the plain version: what each switch controls, what gets saved once you answer, and how to undo it on a laptop or a phone.
1. Cookies and local storage, briefly
A cookie is a short line of text that a website hands to your browser and asks for again on the next visit. Local storage works along the same lines, only it is a small drawer of named entries that belongs to one site and sits on your device until somebody empties it. Neither can launch a program or look through your files.
The real question is who writes the entry and what the information feeds into later.
For the single thing this review truly has to remember, we use local storage and no cookie at all. Optional tools, if you switch them on, may add cookies of their own, and the table further down lists them.
First-party and third-party
An entry counts as first-party when it comes from the site named in your address bar, which here means this review. Third-party entries come from some other company whose script is running on the page, for example an analytics provider. Safari and Firefox already restrict third-party cookies by default, and Chrome has settings that do much the same. Our banner goes one step earlier: it decides whether those outside scripts are fetched at all, so there is nothing for them to write when a switch is off.
2. The banner, switch by switch
You will see three categories with a switch each and three buttons underneath. "Accept" turns on both optional categories. "Decline" leaves both off. "Save" keeps exactly the positions you set by hand. Pick any of the three and the banner closes; the review reads the same whichever you choose.
Necessary
This switch is always on and greyed out, because it only covers the record of your answer plus the basic protection our hosting provider applies to keep the pages up. Take it away and the banner would pop up on every single visit.
Statistics
Off until you say otherwise. Once enabled, an analytics tool loads and counts visits, pages opened and roughly how long people stay. Our editors read the totals, never one person's trail, to learn which parts of the review earn their place and which need a rewrite.
Marketing
Also off from the start. Switching it on lets partner tags note that a visit to Gravira Casino began here, and that is how the affiliate commission described in our Terms of Service gets credited to us. There are no display ads on this site and no retargeting campaigns following you around the web afterwards.
3. What the saved answer actually contains
Your answer is written to your browser's local storage under the key gv_consent_ca. The value is a tiny piece of text in JSON format, and it looks like this: {"metrics":false,"promo":false,"on":"2026-09-23"}. That is the whole thing.
The three fields
metricsstands for the Statistics switch. It readstruewhen you allowed analytics andfalsewhen you did not.promois the Marketing switch, with the same two possible values.onholds the date you made the choice, written year first. The date follows your own device clock and time zone, so it matches the day you see on your screen.
Necessary has no field, since it cannot be switched off and so has nothing to record. No name, email, IP address or device fingerprint is added to the value, and it is not sent to our server as part of any profile. Each browser keeps its own copy: your phone and your laptop answer separately, and a private window starts blank and forgets its answer when closed.
In most desktop browsers, open the developer tools (F12 on Windows, Option plus Command plus I on a Mac), go to the Application or Storage tab, choose Local Storage and pick our site. The entry sits there in plain text, and you can delete it on the spot.
4. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Some browsers and privacy extensions send a Global Privacy Control signal with every request. Older setups may send Do Not Track instead. We treat either one as a clear refusal of Statistics and Marketing.
So the banner never appears for you. On your first page view the site quietly saves {"metrics":false,"promo":false} together with the date, and no optional script loads, now or later. You don't need to click anything.
Changing that answer on purpose
A browser signal is a general preference, and you may still want to help us with visitor counts. The "Cookie settings" button in the footer opens the same three switches for you as for anyone else. A deliberate click there replaces the automatic refusal, because a choice you make on the page is more specific than a default you set once in a settings menu. Leave the button alone and the refusal stands.
5. The full list of items
| Item | Category | Written by | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|
gv_consent_ca | Necessary | This site | Until you clear it or change your answer |
| Analytics identifiers | Statistics | Analytics provider, only after you opt in | Set by the provider; not refreshed once you opt out |
| Referral tags | Marketing | Affiliate partner, only after you opt in | Set by the partner |
Any new tool would appear in this table and sit behind one of the optional switches before it went live. Nothing gets added quietly.
Why the list is so short
A review needs very little machinery. It has no accounts to keep signed in, no basket and no chat bubble, so most entries you would find on a shopping site have no job to do here. Fewer scripts also mean quicker pages on a phone with two bars of signal, which readers on the bus appreciate.
6. Changing your answer later
Every page ends with a footer, and in it you will find a "Cookie settings" button. Press it and the banner comes back showing your current positions. Flip whatever you like, then press "Save", "Accept" or "Decline" again. The date in the stored value updates to the day of the new choice.
Entries already written
Turning a category off stops its script from loading from the next page view onward. Cookies that tool placed earlier can stay in the browser until they expire on their own. To remove them straight away, follow the clearing steps in the next two sections.
7. Saying no to everything
Decline both optional categories and the whole review stays available to you. Every section, table, FAQ answer and link works exactly as it does for someone who pressed "Accept". We do not hold back content, add delays or ask again on each page to wear you down.
Going further and setting your browser to refuse all cookies and site storage is perfectly okay with us too. The pages still load and read normally. The only side effect is that the banner has nowhere to save your answer, so it asks once more on your next visit.
Ad-filtering extensions sometimes hide the banner completely. In that case nothing optional loads either, which gives the same result as pressing "Decline".
8. Clearing site data on a computer
Deleting a site's data wipes its cookies and the gv_consent_ca entry together. On your next visit the banner greets you as a newcomer.
Chrome
- With our review open, click the site-information icon at the left end of the address bar.
- Choose "Cookies and site data", then "Manage on-device site data".
- Remove the entry for this site with the bin icon and reload.
Safari on a Mac
- Open Safari's Settings and go to the Privacy tab.
- Click "Manage Website Data" and type the site name into the search field.
- Select the result, press "Remove" and close the window.
Firefox
- Click the padlock at the left of the address bar.
- Pick "Clear cookies and site data".
- Confirm, then refresh the page.
Edge
- Open Settings and choose "Cookies and site permissions".
- Go to "Manage and delete cookies and site data", then "See all cookies and site data".
- Find our site in the list and press the bin icon next to it.
9. Clearing site data on a phone
Mobile browsers tuck these controls deeper, and a couple of them only let you clear by date range rather than site by site.
Safari on iPhone and iPad
- Open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Safari.
- Scroll to Advanced and tap Website Data.
- Search for our site, swipe left on the entry and tap Delete.
Chrome on Android
- While on our review, tap the icon beside the address and choose "Cookies and site data".
- Tap the bin icon to delete what this site stored.
- Alternatively, open Settings, then Site settings, then All sites, find our review and choose Clear and reset.
Samsung Internet
- Tap the menu with three lines at the bottom right and open Settings.
- Go to "Personal browsing data", then "Delete browsing data".
- Tick "Cookies and site data", pick a time range that covers your visit and tap Delete.
Menu wording drifts from one version to the next. When a label here doesn't match your screen, your browser's help pages will carry the current name.
10. After you leave for the casino
Buttons that send you to Gravira Casino first pass through /liftoff/, our short redirect page. That page writes nothing to your browser of its own, and the stay there lasts only a moment.
From there you land on the casino's own website. At that point Horizonix Corp N.V., as the operator, sets its own cookies for sign-in, fraud checks, game sessions and its marketing, under a cookie policy of its own. Our banner has no reach over those entries, and they are not listed in our table. To adjust them, use the consent tools the casino offers or the per-site settings in your browser while you are on its pages.
None of that is needed to read about the welcome package; the bonus section of the review opens with every switch off.
Coming back
Returning to our review from the casino changes nothing on this side. Your stored answer is still in place, and the banner only shows up again if you cleared it or never answered in the first place.
11. How often we look at this notice
An editor reads this page against the live site at least once every three months. We also revisit it whenever a script is added, removed or updated, and whenever a browser changes how it treats cookies in a way that affects the steps above.
Small corrections, such as a renamed menu item, go in without an announcement. A new category, or a new tool inside an existing one, gets a fresh banner: the stored date will be older than the change, so the site asks again instead of assuming you agreed to something that did not exist when you answered.
12. Related pages and questions
Server logs, emails and your rights under Canadian privacy law, including where to lodge a complaint, are covered in the Privacy Notice. Our Legal page gathers every policy in one place, and Responsible Gambling lists the tools that help you keep play at a comfortable level.
Reporting a mismatch
See a script loading while your switches say it shouldn't? That is a bug, and we would like to hear about it. Tell us the browser and version and add a screenshot if you can, either through Contact Us or if you prefer email, write to us directly. An editor looks into reports like this within two business days.
The review itself, from the payout table to the FAQ, shows its own check date.
